A day pass, the next two. so on it goes & it gets longer and longer.
In life, we tend to think that others have their act more together than we do.
The lives of our families, neighbours, and friends may appear beautiful on the outside, but on the inside, we all struggle with balancing our priorities, health, and relationships, and deciding who we will honor with our lives. Noone is perfect, and filling our lives with cheap substitutes will not provide lasting fulfillments.
Everything are like 'Daylilies'. Daylilies get their name from the fact that their flowers last only one day. In the morning, the bud swells and opens, and it shrivels back to nothing by evening.
Daylilies are great examples, because everything comes and goes, just like that. Great or once thought fortunate things can never last longer.
For now, i rather choose to rely on myself than to rely on others.
